🧭 Role overview

In this permanent First Officer role, you’ll partner with your crew to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient operations across domestic and international routes. You’ll demonstrate strong CRM, maintain procedural discipline, and represent the brand with a polished, professional presence.

🌟 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 1,500 hours
  • Turbine time: 500 hours
  • License: ATP Written (Airplane); all aeronautical experience meeting 14 CFR §61.159
  • Medical: First Class
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided
  • Valid Driver’s License issued by a U.S. state or territory
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test

🧭 Travel and documentation requirements

  • Current passport with unrestricted entry to and exit from the United States and at least 6 months’ validity at time of employment. Non‑U.S. passport holders must possess appropriate travel documentation.
  • Ability to travel immediately and repeatedly to any location, domestic or international, where Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines fly.

Must be comfortable with a domicile in:

  • Seattle, WA
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • Anchorage, AK
  • Portland, OR
  • San Francisco, CA

🧾 Preferred qualifications

  • 500 hours of multi‑engine airplane time
  • Minimum of 50 hours of flight time within the last 12 months
  • 500 hours of turbine PIC time
  • Turbojet/turboprop experience in a complex flying environment
