✈️ The mission
- Operate Airbus A320 family aircraft in full compliance with FARs, company SOPs, and checklists.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, including performance, weight and balance, weather, and NOTAMs.
- Exercise strong aeronautical decision‑making and crew resource management on every leg.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with ATC, dispatch, cabin crew, and ground personnel.
- Manage automation and avionics (EFIS/FMS) while maintaining raw‑data proficiency.
- Uphold strict safety standards, procedural discipline, and on‑time operational performance.
🧭 What you’ll bring
- Excellent communication skills and clear, confident cockpit leadership as a First Officer.

- Calm, sound judgment in dynamic, time‑critical environments.
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to relocate or reliably commute to a Spirit pilot base.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- PIC Time: 250 hours
- Multi‑Engine: 50 hours
- Currency: 100 hours flight time in the preceding 12 months
- License Required: R‑ATP (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Permit: FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Travel Documents: Valid passport/documents with at least 12 months’ validity for travel in and out of the USA and to all Spirit destinations (now and future)
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided) — NTR
- Screening: Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and 10‑year background check
- Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship not provided
🌟 Preferred experience
- 500 hours turbine time
- Experience in Part 121, 135, or military flight operations
- Turbine or transport‑category aircraft experience
- EFIS/FMS experience
