✈️ A320 Family Captain — Help Launch Lufthansa Group’s Newest Airline
As a brand-new airline and the youngest member of the Lufthansa Group, we are driven to deliver reliable, Lufthansa-quality service on short- and medium-haul routes from our Munich home base.
🧭 Your mission
- Lead safe, efficient flight operations across Europe and beyond on the A320 family.
- Set the tone on the flight deck with exemplary CRM and decision-making.
- Uphold Lufthansa Group standards in safety, compliance, and punctuality.
- Deliver a warm, professional guest experience consistent with our brand.
- Coach and mentor flight deck colleagues in a growing operation.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: Minimum 5,000 hours on CS‑25 aircraft
- Turbine PIC: Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on CS‑25 aircraft
- Type rating: Not required (Training Provided)
- License: EASA ATPL
- Medical: EASA Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
- Education: General higher education entrance qualification
- Right to work: Unrestricted residence and work permit
- Passport: Valid without limitation; if non‑EU, no stricter entry restrictions than an EU passport (for network requirements)
🌟 Preferred profile
- A220 or A320 family type rating
- Demonstrated leadership in multi-crew, high-intensity short-haul operations
- Strong SOP discipline with a customer-centric mindset
🎓 Training and onboarding
Direct entry captains without a current A320 type rating are welcome. We provide full type rating and differences training as required, along with Lufthansa Group-standard ground school, simulator phases, and line training to ensure a smooth transition to our operation.
📍 Where you’ll be based
Our home base is Munich. You’ll operate short- and medium-haul services that showcase the best of Lufthansa quality, with modern processes, a collaborative culture, and the energy of a startup within a world-class aviation group.
