🧭 The Role

As Captain, you will lead the operation of A320 flights end-to-end—owning safety, compliance, and performance—while mentoring the First Officer and fostering a strong CRM culture.

  • Exercise command responsibility for flight safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time performance.
  • Lead preflight planning, fuel and payload decisions, and departure briefs in line with SOPs and DGCA requirements.
  • Apply sound judgement and decisive leadership during abnormal or adverse conditions.
  • Champion CRM, mentor First Officers, and maintain a just culture and SMS best practices.
  • Deliver a calm, courteous passenger experience and represent the airline with professionalism.
  • Maintain currency, training, and records to the highest standards.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • License Required: DGCA ATPL
  • Type rating: Airbus A320 (current)
  • PIC in type: Minimum 100 hours
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
  • Accepted Licenses: DGCA (India)

🧾 Additional Requirements & Compliance

  • PPC / Pilot’s Proficiency Check — current and valid.
  • FRTOL and COP/RTR.
  • Records: Certificate of incident/accident‑free record, breath analyzer, and details of any enforcement action taken against the licence holder by DGCA.
  • eGCA: Mandatory eGCA ID with all licences and documents validated.
