Air Ambulance First Officer (Citation) – St. Croix, USVI
Save lives from the flight deck
As an Air Ambulance First Officer on our Cessna Citation fleet, you’ll fly time-critical medical missions across the Caribbean and the Americas, supporting the Captain to deliver safe, efficient operations when every minute counts.
✈️ What you’ll do
- Serve as SIC/co-pilot on Citation air ambulance missions, supporting the Captain for safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Assist with thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, performance and weight and balance, fueling coordination, paperwork, and securing accurate operational documentation.
- Execute disciplined checklist usage, radio and ATC communication, and systems monitoring; apply strong CRM, threat and error management, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain readiness and compliance with duty and rest limitations, currency, and appearance standards; carry and manage all required certificates, permits, and a valid U.S. passport.
- Coordinate professionally with medical crews and ground partners to facilitate safe, timely patient transport.
- Assume the Captain’s authority if required during flight, safeguarding the mission and everyone on board.
- Represent the company with professionalism at domestic and international destinations.
🧭 What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current FAA CPL with IR and ME.
- Accepted licenses: FAA only
- Total time: 1000 hours minimum
- Multi-engine: 100 hours minimum
- Medical: First Class
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
- Deep knowledge of the General Operations Manual, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and company SOPs, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to successfully complete company training and simulator check ride.
- Eligibility to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.
- Eligibility to travel to all international destinations.
- Willing to be based in St. Croix, USVI, or relocate for the assignment.
- A flexible, mission-first mindset with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred: Part 135 experience.

- Company-provided Citation differences/type training as required for the role.
- Structured initial and recurrent training programs with proficiency checks.
- Operations conducted under established manuals, SOPs, and oversight by the Chief Pilot.
🔐 Compliance and screening
- Pre-employment drug screening, fingerprinting, and background check required.
- Adherence to all company safety programs and regulatory requirements at all times.
