Operate a diverse, fixed‑wing fleet tailored to wildfire operations:

NTR welcome: Comprehensive aircraft‑specific training is provided for qualified captains.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Execute low‑level, high‑speed water and retardant drops on active wildfires through rugged terrain.
  • Plan and brief missions, assessing weather, terrain, fuel, performance, and risk.
  • Coordinate closely with air attack, ground crews, and fellow pilots for safe, effective operations.
  • Apply disciplined SOPs, aviation regulations, and robust threat‑and‑error management.
  • Adapt to dynamic conditions, extended duty periods, and variable bases as operations demand.

📊 Minimum Requirements

  • Total Time: 1500 hours
  • PIC Time: 1000 hours
  • Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
  • Flight Time Notes: Minimums may differ by aircraft type
  • License: TCCA with IATRA and IR
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4
