Step into the left seat on our Airbus narrowbody fleet from Cheongju. Bring proven leadership, precision flying, and a calm command presence to deliver safe, punctual operations while mentoring the next generation of aviators.
🧭 The role
- Serve as PIC on Airbus Family operations, upholding the highest standards of safety, airmanship, and SOP compliance.
- Lead effective CRM, decision-making, and clear communication across all phases of flight.
- Execute robust flight planning, threat and error management, and prudent fuel policy adherence.
- Manage irregular operations with professionalism, coordinating seamlessly with ATC, dispatch, and ground teams.
- Coach and mentor First Officers, championing a just culture and continuous improvement in the cockpit.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 5,000 hours
- Transport-category time: 1,000 hours
- Type rating: Current Airbus Family type rating (A320/A330/A350/A380)
- License: ATPL — open to KOCA licence holders
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: English and Korean; ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Certification: Aviation Radio Operator Certification
- Location: Able to work in Cheongju
- Military service: Male applicants must have completed or be exempted
- Travel/registration: No disqualifications for overseas travel or issuance of flight crew registration
- Background: No unusual or disqualifying factors in background check
- Work authorization: Legal right to work in the Republic of Korea (no visa sponsorship)
