A320 Family Captain — Command Your Next Chapter

🧭 What you’ll do

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command on A320 family operations, ensuring the highest levels of safety and compliance.
• Lead the flight deck with exemplary CRM, decision-making, and operational discipline from briefing to block‑off and arrival.
• Uphold company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and best practices across all phases of flight.
• Mentor and support flight crew members to foster a professional, proactive safety culture.
• Represent the airline with professionalism in all crew, passenger, and stakeholder interactions.

📏 Minimum flight experience

• Total time: 4,000+ hours
• PIC on type: 500+ hours on A320 family
• Heavy aircraft: 1,000+ hours on aircraft over 27 tons MTOW
• Type rating: Current and valid A320 family type rating

📜 Licensing, language & medical

• License: Valid ATPL issued by DGCA (Turkey), EASA, FAA, or an ICAO authority
• Medical: Class 1
• English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher

🧰 Additional requirements

• At least high school graduate (or higher).
• No written disciplinary actions due to flight failure or flight indiscipline.
• No criminal record or criminal archive record.
• Accept the company-assigned base and reside there.
• For Blue Card holders: fluent and understandable Turkish is required.
• Successful completion of the final pre-employment examination by AJet workplace physicians.
• No prior failed training or control/check flights in Turkish Airlines or other airlines.
• No previous termination from THY AO or its subsidiary companies.
