This permanent, type‑rated role places you at the heart of a new, agile in‑house aviation operation built for flexibility, safety, and growth.
🧭 The Opportunity
MinRes Air is seeking expressions of interest from experienced, type‑rated First Officers on the A319/A320 to join our expanding team. As Second‑in‑Command, you will partner closely with the Captain to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable services that directly support MinRes’ Fly‑In Fly‑Out operations from our dedicated Perth terminal.
🧰 What You'll Do
- Operate as Second‑in‑Command on A319/A320 services, working in full partnership with the Captain.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑flight duties, including documentation, briefings, and debriefings.
- Lead elements of flight planning, navigation, performance, and weight & balance calculations.
- Manage in‑flight systems monitoring, communications with ATC, and adherence to company SOPs.
- Apply strong threat & error management and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
- Represent MinRes Air professionally with colleagues and passengers at our dedicated terminal.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi‑Engine: 500 hours
- Type Rating: A320 Family (A319/A320) — required
- Licence: CASA CPL with IR and ME
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
- Visa Sponsorship: Not provided (ability to work in Australia required)
