🧭 What you’ll do

Support the Captain in safe, efficient operation of the DHC-6 across diverse environments and mission profiles.
Execute SOPs, checklists, and strong CRM; maintain precise radio comms using your FCC RR.
Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance.
Operate VFR/IFR while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Accurately complete logs, reports, and documentation to support operational and regulatory requirements.
Travel away from domicile for extended periods while upholding professional standards and readiness.
As assigned, support specialized training and mission sets (e.g., aerial delivery training, night operations) in line with experience and approvals.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

Total time: 500 hours
Multi-engine time: 25 hours
Licenses: FAA CPL with IR and ME
Medical: Class 1
Type rating: Not required — training provided
Permit: Hold or obtain a current FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR)
Education: High School Diploma
Security: Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
Travel: Ability to travel away from domicile for long periods

🌟 Preferred qualifications

FAA Multi-Engine ATP certificate
1,000 hours total flight time in airplanes
100 hours multi-engine time in airplanes
Experience in DHC-6 operations as a pilot (please annotate on resume)
Experience in aerial delivery training
Experience in NVG operations
