As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking motivated First Officers to join our DHC-6 Twin Otter fleet in touring positions. This is a rare chance to build multi-engine experience in some of the world’s most diverse and rewarding flying environments.

🧭 What you will do

  • Operate as First Officer on the DHC-6 Twin Otter across Papua New Guinea in multi-crew charter operations.
  • Support safe, efficient flight operations including flight planning, performance, weight and balance, and operational decision-making.
  • Work closely with Captains, ground operations, and engineering to deliver reliable services to remote communities and clients.
  • Embrace a touring roster and the unique challenges of tropical, mountainous terrain and short, remote airstrips.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 500 hours
  • PIC time: 100 hours
  • Multi-engine: 150 hours
  • License: CPL, IR, ME
  • Open to lic. holders: CASA PNG, ICAO
  • Medical: Class 2
  • ICAO ELP: Level 5
  • Type rating: Not required (Training Provided)
  • Flight time on type: 10 hours (may be obtained during Company training)
  • Employment: Permanent
  • Roster: Touring positions
  • Visa sponsorship: Provided
  • NTR: Yes

🌟 Training & onboarding

Hevilift provides company training to bring you current and qualified on the DHC-6 Twin Otter, including the 10 hours on type required for line readiness. You will be supported through ground school and operational induction to ensure a safe and confident transition onto the fleet.

🧭 Touring life in PNG

These are touring roles with time-on/time-off rosters. You’ll experience varied operations, close-knit crews, and purposeful flying that connects remote communities. Specific roster details will be discussed during the selection process.
