Join a high-impact team that delivers training and flight services for Boeing commercial airplanes and customers around the world. We’re searching for a Senior Technical Pilot with current 787 or 777 credentials to help shape safe, efficient operations and support airline partners from our Tokyo office.
✈️ About the role
As a Senior Technical Pilot, you will serve as a subject-matter expert on the Boeing 787 and/or 777, collaborating across engineering, training, and customer teams. You’ll help translate complex operational needs into clear, practical solutions—supporting courseware, flight procedures, and customer engagements while representing Boeing standards and safety culture.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Provide technical pilot expertise for training and flight services on the 787/777 fleet.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and airline customers, communicating complex topics clearly and professionally.
- Support development and delivery of pilot training materials, briefings, and presentations.
- Contribute to operational guidance and best practices for transport category aircraft.
- Assist with evaluations, feedback, and continuous improvement of training and flight service products.
- Leverage Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to create high-quality documents and presentations.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 3,000+ hours
- Type rating: Current Boeing 787 or 777 (type-rated required)
- Transport experience: Experience flying transport category aircraft
- Licenses: CPL with IR and ME — accepted: FAA, ICAO, JCAB
- Medical: Class 2
- Language: ICAO English Level 4 or higher
- Technical skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Soft skills: Strong communication and ability to interact across functions and levels
🌟 Preferred qualifications
- Instructor, check pilot, or FAR 121 line experience on Boeing aircraft
📍 Work location & schedule
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the Boeing Japan Tokyo Office.
- Role based in Tokyo, Japan; some customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration required.
