Lead Captain – Gulfstream V (G‑V)

🧭 What you’ll do

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command on global G‑V operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and passenger experience.
• Lead the flight deck, mentor First Officers, and foster a just culture aligned with SMS and IS-BAO practices.
• Plan and execute international routes, including oceanic and high-level airspace (NAT HLA, RVSM), using CPDLC/ADS‑C where applicable.
• Manage performance planning, weight and balance, fuel strategy, alternates, and extended-range contingencies.
• Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to deliver on-time, efficient, and discreet operations.
• Complete thorough preflight/postflight duties and maintain accurate, compliant documentation and records.
• Represent the flight department with professionalism and discretion in a VIP/business aviation environment.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• Total Time: 5,000 hours
• Multi-Engine: 2,500 hours
• Jet: 1,000 hours
• Type Rating: Required
• License: ATP — FAA
• Medical: Class 1
• Education: High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in flight operations, including substantial PIC and international experience
• Travel Documents: Valid passport
• Communications: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

• Current or recent Gulfstream V/G‑VI type rating
• Extensive international operating experience across multiple regions
• Deep proficiency with FMS, advanced avionics, and datalink procedures on long-range Gulfstream platforms
• Proven leadership in mentoring First Officers and standardizing flight department procedures
