Saab 2000 First Officer (Training Provided)

As a Saab 2000 First Officer, you’ll fly in a professional multi-crew environment, refine your instrument skills, and grow under a supportive training culture. Non-type-rated pilots are welcome—type training is provided.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 1,000 hours
  • PIC time: 500 hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 50 hours
  • Instrument time: 50 hours in an actual aircraft
  • Instrument currency: Must be current/proficient

🌟 Preferred experience

  • Total time: 1,500 hours preferred

🛂 Additional requirements

  • Passport validity: Valid passport with a minimum of 36 months remaining at the start of training
  • Travel eligibility: Able to travel unrestricted to Canada, Mexico, and all countries in the Caribbean
  • Radio permit: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Clearances: Must pass all background checks and FAA/DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Training agreement: Agree to a Pilot Training Agreement

🎓 Training & onboarding

Bring your solid multi-engine and instrument foundation—NTR candidates are welcome. You’ll receive type-specific training on the Saab 2000, with the expectation to maintain instrument proficiency and meet all regulatory standards. A Pilot Training Agreement is required prior to course start.

🛫 What you’ll do

  • Execute all phases of flight in a multi-crew environment in accordance with company SOPs and regulations
  • Demonstrate strong IFR and multi-engine proficiency, including precise instrument procedures
  • Practice exceptional CRM, checklist discipline, and safety-driven decision making
  • Support the Captain in flight planning, performance calculations, and operational communications
