Pilatus PC-24 Captain (PIC) — Phoenix

Lead the mission as Pilot-in-Command on a factory-fresh Pilatus PC-24 based at Phoenix Sky Harbor. Join a team that pairs world-class service with uncompromising safety across owner support and on-demand charter flying.

  • Aircraft: Pilatus PC-24
  • Operations: Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand, single-pilot
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Roster: Fixed 15-day schedule with rotating coverage and short-notice callouts
  • License Required: ATP (Unrestricted), Multi-Engine; current First Class Medical
  • Reports to: Director of Operations and Chief Pilot

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command of the PC-24 supporting the owner’s travel and charter clients under FAR Part 91 and Part 135.
  • Operate single-pilot with discipline, precision, and a safety-first mindset.
  • Deliver a premium customer experience as the primary face of Cutter Aviation to owners, clients, and partners.
  • Liaise closely with Cutter Flight Management on all phases of operations, logistics, and aircraft support.
  • Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, currency, qualifications, and aircraft status.
  • Follow established procedures for reporting irregularities, conducting ground/flight checks, and maintaining records.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Certificates: Multi-Engine ATP (Unrestricted) and current First Class Medical (or ability to qualify).
  • Experience: Previous turbojet type rating and/or turboprop experience preferred; knowledge of general aviation aircraft, crew, and passenger needs.
  • Safety Record: No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past five years.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding customer service, organizational ability, and clear communication; calm under pressure and adaptable to change.
  • Leadership: Ability to coach and train an SIC to perform duties to standard.
  • Work Style: Self-starter who is reliable, professional in appearance and manner, and effective working independently.
  • Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs.

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 hours PIC; 250 hours PIC in turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Previous on-demand charter (FAR Part 135) experience.
  • Recent training with FlightSafety International or SimuFlite.

🧭 Schedule & Flexibility

  • Full-time role on a fixed 15-day roster.
  • Flexibility to support on-demand operations, rotating coverage, and short-notice callouts.

🔒 Compliance & Clearances

  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • High school diploma or GED.
