✈️ The Opportunity
Based in Grand Rapids, MI, this role flies Northern Jet’s Citation XLS fleet on Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand missions across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. You’ll operate in a safety-focused culture with robust support from leadership, maintenance, scheduling, and client services—plus earn your Citation XLS type rating.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Second-in-Command (First Officer) on Citation XLS missions under Part 91 and Part 135.
- Partner closely with the Captain to execute safe, efficient, and professional flights in full compliance with FAA regulations, company SOPs, duty/flight-time limits, and pilot qualifications.
- Support high-touch client service on every leg, ensuring a smooth, discreet, and premium experience.
- Coordinate with flight operations leadership, maintenance, scheduling, and client-services teams.
- Identify and report aircraft discrepancies discovered in flight or on the ground.
- Complete assigned administrative tasks and maintain training/currency requirements.
- Operate confidently in domestic and international airspace, including Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
🧰 What You’ll Bring
- Flight Time: Minimum 1,500 hours total time and 100+ hours multi-engine.
- Certificates/Medicals: Current First-Class Medical and an ATP—unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Safety Record: No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of corporate aviation and international procedures (Canada, Mexico, Caribbean).
- Professionalism: Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills; consistently polished appearance.
- Readiness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; able to pass drug screening and comprehensive background check.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
🌟 Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Base Salary: $86,250
- Incentives: Performance incentive opportunities; domestic & international per diem
- Additional Pay: $800 scheduled-day-off pay for SICs; $800 holiday pay
- Schedule: 8 days on / 6 days off roster

🧭 Where You’ll Be Based
