Pilatus PC-12 Captain – Part 135 (Ogden Base)

✈️ About the role

As a Captain, you’ll blend precision flying with thoughtful hospitality—owning each mission from preflight to postflight while collaborating closely with dispatch, maintenance, and client services. You’ll be trusted to make sound decisions, adapt to changing conditions, and create memorable experiences for SkyShare clients.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Operate the Pilatus PC-12 single-pilot under Part 135, ensuring strict adherence to FAA regulations, company policies, SOPs, and checklists.
• Deliver safe, professional, and client-focused service on every flight.
• Plan and execute flights across multiple time zones and weather environments; manage duty days up to 14 hours during trips of up to eight consecutive days.
• Collaborate across departments; anticipate operational challenges and proactively solve them.
• Maintain meticulous aircraft/flight documentation and uphold confidentiality and brand standards.
• Care for and safely accommodate animals on board when required.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Certificates: FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or ATP (appropriate category and class) with FAA Instrument Rating.
• Medical/Permits: Valid FAA First-Class Medical; FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Flight time (minimum): 1,500 total; 1,000 PIC; 300 turbine; 100 instrument (50 actual); 500 cross-country; 100 night.
• Experience: Prior professional single-pilot experience required; Part 135 experience preferred; current IFR knowledge and recency.
• Work authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; able to pass TSA background checks and obtain SIDA badge as applicable.
• Travel & residency: Reside within one hour of Ogden Airport or relocate within two months of hire; commuting is not permitted.
• Documents: Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license.
• Professional traits: Adaptability, sound judgment, safety-first decision-making, strong written/oral/interpersonal communication, responsiveness, accountability, professional presentation, and effective sleep/fatigue management.
• Physical: Ability to occasionally move objects up to 80 lbs.
• Accepted licenses: CPL, ATP (Restricted or Unrestricted).

🕒 Schedule & operations

• Flexible 8/6 rotation covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Overnights common; multi-day trips with several nights in hotels.
• Operate across varied weather and multiple time zones; maintain readiness and professionalism at all times.

💸 Compensation & benefits

• Annual salary: $90,000–$100,000 based on flight-time tiers:
  • $90,000: under 1,500 hours
  • $95,000: 1,500–2,000 hours
  • $100,000: over 2,000 hours
• Annual salary increases on your employment anniversary.
