As PA‑31 Captain, you will lead multi‑engine IFR sorties that directly support wildfire detection, mapping, and management. You’ll operate in a two‑pilot crew, navigating dynamic airspace and rapidly changing conditions while upholding the highest safety and SOP standards.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Command the PA‑31 on multi‑crew IFR wildfire missions with precision and professionalism.
- Plan, brief, and execute flights in a dynamic, seasonal operating environment.
- Work closely with your fellow pilot and operations team to deliver mission objectives safely and efficiently.
- Apply robust CRM, checklist discipline, and risk management throughout each phase of flight.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, and diligent aircraft care during deployments.

- Licensing: CPL or ATPL — FAA or Transport Canada.
- Ratings: IR (Instrument) and MEL (Multi‑Engine Land) required; Transport Canada Night Rating if licensed under TC.
- Current multi‑engine IFR proficiency; multi‑crew experience preferred.
- Ability to commit to 1–2 wildfire seasons.
