🧭 About the Operation

Perimeter Aviation operates scheduled passenger and freight services to Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario, 24/7 North American charter flying, and medical evacuation services. As a Canadian carrier with deep roots in the communities it serves, Perimeter pairs rigorous safety standards with dependable, customer-focused operations.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Conduct each flight with safety as the first priority while balancing passenger comfort and on-time performance.
  • Operate in strict adherence to company SOPs, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) and the Company Operations Manual (COM).
  • Complete pre-flight planning and calculations: operational flight plan, weather and NOTAM review, fuel/oil requirements, weight and balance, and manifest acceptance/signature.
  • Ensure thorough pre-flight aircraft inspections before every departure.
  • Brief passengers in accordance with SOPs and provide attentive, professional customer service.
  • Load, unload and secure cargo and freight as required.
  • Perform Type C flight watch and all post-flight duties, including post-flight inspections, flight time recording, defect recording, and notifying/confirming aircraft status and location when away from base.
  • Transport thousands of passengers annually while representing Perimeter’s values across diverse communities.
  • Meet and maintain all Transport Canada qualification standards and perform additional duties as assigned.

🌟 What You Bring

  • Licences & Medical: Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Category 1 Medical, and current Group 1 Instrument Rating. Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) preferred; 500 hours on Metro aircraft preferred.
  • Eligibility: Ability to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and authorizations.
  • Communication: Fluent in English with strong verbal and listening comprehension; clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism: Flexible, respectful and safety-focused with a positive attitude; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Execution: Excellent time-management, multitasking and prioritization; accountable, discreet and reliable.
  • Resilience: Calm and effective under pressure with strong problem-solving and analytical skills; committed to on-time performance.
  • Community Focus: High level of respect, understanding and regard for First Nations communities. Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.
  • Physical & Schedule: Able to perform all duties; lift and carry up to 50 lb; work indoors/outdoors in all weather; travel by aircraft and other means as required; work a flexible schedule and travel for extended periods.
