🧭 About the Role

In this safety-sensitive position, you will operate as the MD-11 First Officer (Second-in-Command), complying with all applicable regulations and Captain directives to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time operations across a truly global network.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Second-in-Command on worldwide MD-11 cargo operations, maintaining strict adherence to company policy and regulatory standards.
  • Support all phases of flight planning, execution, and post-flight duties with precision and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with ATC and dispatch using your FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Champion safety, teamwork, and mission reliability in dynamic international environments.

🌟 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 2,500 hours
  • License Required: ATP (FAA)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Type Rating: Not required — MD-11 training provided
  • Passport: Valid passport allowing unrestricted international travel (including for military contract requirements)
  • Permit: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Record: No history of accidents or incidents
  • Compliance: Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug test and 10-year background check
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not provided

🎯 Preferred Experience

  • 1,000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations. Up to 500 hours of military flight time as PIC of a multiengine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane may count toward this 1,000-hour total.
  • PIC time in operations under § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i), or any combination of these, may also count toward the 1,000-hour total.
