As a First Officer with Alerion Aviation, you’ll support domestic and international missions on the Legacy 600, executing Part 91 and Part 135 operations in full compliance with company procedures and FAA regulations. We’re seeking a highly motivated, organized aviator who elevates the passenger experience while upholding the highest professional standards.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate domestic and international flights under 14 CFR Part 91/135 in alignment with Alerion SOPs and FAA guidance.
  • Support the Captain in all phases: planning, performance and W&B, fuel strategy, risk assessment, and checklist discipline.
  • Deliver polished, discreet cabin service while maintaining uncompromising safety and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough preflight/postflight inspections and ensure accurate logs, briefings, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and client services to ensure on-time, mission-ready operations.
  • Maintain currency and proficiency through required training, checking, and recurrent programs.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • License: ATP (FAA)
  • Medical: First Class
  • Total time: 2,000 hours
  • PIC time: 500 hours
  • Multi-engine time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 100 hours
  • Instrument time: 150 hours
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided on the Legacy 600
  • Accepted licenses: FAA only

🛡️ Additional requirements

  • Valid passport; eligible for unrestricted international travel
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years
  • Reside within a 2-hour driving radius of FRG (Farmingdale, NY)
  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check per TSA Security Program Standards and 49 CFR 1544.229 / 1544.230
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided
