Learjet 60 First Officer – Modesto, CA (Type Rating Provided)

As a Learjet 60 First Officer, you will support safe, efficient, and compliant operations alongside an experienced Captain. You will leverage strong IFR skills, disciplined checklist usage, and excellent CRM to deliver reliable service across a variety of missions. Extensive travel and schedule flexibility are part of the role, and an iPad is required for electronic flight bag (EFB) operations.

• Execute preflight planning, performance, and weight & balance calculations; verify fuel, weather, NOTAMs, and routing.
• Operate the Learjet 60 safely and efficiently under IFR across diverse environments; maintain strong instrument proficiency.
• Adhere to company procedures, SOPs, and regulatory requirements; uphold a robust safety and compliance culture.
• Conduct thorough preflight and postflight inspections; coordinate with dispatch and maintenance.
• Employ effective CRM and clear communication with the Captain, ATC, and ground personnel.
• Use an iPad EFB for charts, performance, and company communications; maintain device readiness.
• Support on‑call, after‑hours, and irregular operations as needed; travel extensively.

• Total Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi‑Engine: 500 hours
• Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
• Licenses: FAA CPL, IR, ME, CFI
• Medical: First Class
• Currency: Current IPC
• Authorization: Open to FAA license holders

• Previous Part 135 experience.
• Familiarity with the Learjet 60 or similar company aircraft.
• Previous cargo operations experience.
• LR‑60 SIC type rating.
• Certified MEI.
• ATP preferred.

• Base: Modesto, CA — MUST be within a 2‑hour commute.
• Relocation: Willingness and ability to relocate to the assigned base.
• Travel: Extensive travel required.
• Schedule: Various shifts; overtime and after‑hours call‑outs may be required.
• EFB: iPad required when reporting for duty.

• Current passport.
• FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment DOT drug screening and other required background checks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport SIDA badge.
