✈️ The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly professional PIC to operate the LR60/Learjet, represent our brand with poise, and deliver an uncompromising client experience. This is a dynamic, mission-driven role requiring 24/7 year-round availability, schedule flexibility, and the ability to respond to short-notice callouts.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the LR60/Learjet as PIC for Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter missions with an unwavering commitment to safety and service.
  • Serve as Cutter Aviation’s primary field-facing representative with aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the business aviation community.
  • Maintain 24/7 availability, support rotating schedules, and respond to short-notice callouts.
  • Ensure full compliance with FAA regulations: flight operations, pilot qualifications, currency, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance.
  • Follow established procedures for reporting irregularities and performing thorough ground and flight checks; maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Train and mentor the SIC to properly perform their functions; complete administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience on every leg—professional, polished, and proactive.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Minimum 3,000 hours total time and 1,500 hours PIC.
  • Valid and current FAA-issued pilot license and current First Class Medical.
  • No accidents, incidents, or sanctions within the past 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of general aviation aircraft, service requirements, and the needs of crews and passengers.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor the SIC.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills; professional appearance and manner.
  • High attention to detail with excellent multitasking ability; initiative and a friendly, relationship-focused approach.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check; clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Current LR60 type rating.
  • Current Part 135.293/297 in type.
  • Recent training with FlightSafety International (FSI) or CAE SimuFlite.
