Breeze Airways is hiring “Seriously Nice” pilots to fly the Learjet 45. As a Breeze First Officer, you’ll champion safety, professionalism, and hospitality—delivering on-time, compliant operations while taking great care of our Team Members and Guests.

✈️ The Opportunity

Help lead safe, efficient Lear 45 operations while embodying Breeze’s “Seriously Nice” service. You’ll collaborate with your Captain, Flight Attendants, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless experience—from preflight through arrival—every time.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Learjet 45 in accordance with Company SOPs and FARs, maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Execute thorough preflight planning: performance, weight and balance, fuel, weather, NOTAMs, alternates, and risk assessment.
  • Conduct clear, professional crew and passenger briefings; champion effective CRM.
  • Manage FMS programming and automation; monitor aircraft systems and flight progress to ensure on-time, compliant operations.
  • Maintain meticulous checklists and documentation; ensure accurate logs and reports.
  • Deliver “Seriously Nice” hospitality to Guests while representing Breeze with integrity and professionalism.
  • Participate in recurrent training and continuous improvement initiatives; uphold a culture of accountability and excellence.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 1,000+ hours (not including simulator and/or Flight Engineer time)
  • PIC: 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 25 hours
  • Instrument: 50 hours
  • Cross-Country: 100 hours
  • Currency: Actively flying two of the past five years
  • License: FAA CPL with IR and ME
  • Medical: Class 1
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Valid passport; able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
  • Must ensure pilot training history is accurately maintained and disclosed per PRD regulations
  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
