✈️ The Opportunity

As a Learjet 45 Captain, you will lead safe, efficient, and on-time operations in a multi-pilot environment, upholding company SOPs and FARs. If you are not currently typed, you’ll complete company-provided Learjet 45 training and transition to Captain in a very short timeframe, bringing your leadership, judgment, and customer focus to every mission.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command of Learjet 45 operations, ensuring uncompromising safety, regulatory compliance, and professionalism.
  • Lead preflight planning: weather, NOTAMs, fuel, performance, and weight & balance; make sound go/no-go decisions.
  • Execute precise, standard procedures with strong CRM and Threat & Error Management in a multi-pilot environment.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to optimize reliability and passenger experience.
  • Maintain required currency, training, and checkrides; participate in recurrent and proficiency training.
  • Ensure pilot training history is accurately maintained and disclosed in accordance with the PRD regulations.
  • Represent the company with excellent communication, service mindset, and professional demeanor.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total time: 2,500+ hours (not including simulator and/or Flight Engineer time)
  • PIC time: 1,000+ hours
  • Multi-engine: 1,000+ hours
  • Jet: 500+ hours
  • Multi-pilot: 500+ hours
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided)
  • License required: ATP (FAA)
  • Medical: Class 1 (First Class)
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currency: Actively flying two of the past five years
  • Permits & IDs: Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit; valid U.S. driver’s license; valid passport; able to travel unrestricted to/from the United States
  • Language: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Work authorization: Must have authorization to work in the United States (Immigration Reform Act of 1986)
  • Technology: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products
  • Core skills: Excellent oral/written communication; strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; able to foster cooperation across departments and work effectively at all organizational levels

  • Learjet 45 type rating
  • Learjet 45 Captain experience
  • Previous U.S. Part 135 or Part 121 experience

🛡️ Safety & Compliance

  • PRD: Maintain and disclose pilot training history per PRD regulations
  • Drug testing: Pass DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Background checks: Pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
