🧭 Mission

Deliver flawless, passenger‑focused operations across Europe by leading the flight deck with authority and care. You will champion safety, compliance, and service standards—from meticulous pre‑flight planning to confident execution and thoughtful post‑flight review—while mentoring First Officers and partnering closely with Dispatch, Ground Handling, and Maintenance.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Operate as Pilot‑in‑Command of Learjet 45 flights under EASA (or applicable) regulations and PRIVAJET’s AOC.
• Accept full operational authority for assigned flights, ensuring safe, legal, and efficient outcomes every time.
• Lead the crew through all phases: pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, briefings, flight execution, and post‑flight review.
• Uphold company SOPs, regulatory standards, FTL limitations, and robust risk‑management practices.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Dispatch, Ground Handling, and Maintenance to optimize punctuality, safety, and service.
• Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, procedures, NOTAMs, meteorology, and destination‑specific requirements.
• Coach and mentor First Officers; contribute to training, safety, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Represent PRIVAJET professionally with clients, authorities, and third parties—demonstrating exemplary airmanship, CRM, and hospitality.

🌟 What you’ll bring

• Licence: EASA ATPL(A) with valid Learjet 45 type rating.
• Currency: Valid OPC/LPC; Flight Radio‑Telephony Operator’s Licence (VHF & HF).
• Experience: Minimum 3,000 total hours, including at least 1,500 hours as PIC on multi‑pilot, multi‑engine turboprop or turbojet aircraft.
• Multi‑engine time: 1,500 hours.
• Age: Up to 62 years.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
• Languages: Fluent English (ICAO Level 4+); additional languages are an advantage.
• Mindset: Uncompromising safety focus, calm under pressure, and genuine commitment to outstanding passenger service.
• Mobility: Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours; valid passport and/or work permit enabling residency and employment in Europe.

🧩 Desirable extras

• Previous business aviation/VIP charter experience.
• Additional type ratings.
• TRI/TRE qualifications.
• EASA post‑holder training.
• Proven track record in crew mentoring, safety improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

📏 Minimum flight hours

• Total time: 3,000+ hours
• PIC time: 1,500+ hours (multi‑pilot, multi‑engine)
• Multi‑engine time: 1,500+ hours
