Executive Jet Management (a NetJets/Berkshire Hathaway company) is seeking a high-caliber Lead Pilot in Command to anchor a three-pilot Part 135 flight department on a Global XRS based in Miami, FL (KOPF). This is a hands-on leadership role for a captain who thrives in the flight deck and as a trusted partner to clients and crew.

🧭 The Opportunity

As Lead PIC, you will be a peer-leader who actively flies the schedule while championing safety, compliance, and service excellence. You will guide crew resource management, nurture client relationships, and handle key flight department administration so every trip is executed to impeccable standards.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a peer-leader for the designated flight department with emphasis on CRM, client service, and administrative oversight.
  • Actively fly the schedule and perform all PIC duties in full compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships; serve as the primary point of contact for trip planning and service delivery.
  • Coordinate closely with maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness and dispatch reliability.
  • Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight & balance.
  • Use TPC briefing methodology to drive clear, consistent crew communication.
  • Act as Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
  • Execute all pre-flight tasks, passenger briefings, and post-flight follow-up.
  • Maintain all regulatory and company-required training, currency, and recency.

🌟 What You Bring

  • Experience: 4–6 years; prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred.
  • Type Rating: FAA type rating in the applicable fleet (Global XRS/BD-700 series).
  • Total Time: 3,500 hours.
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours.
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours.
  • PIC MEL: 500 hours.
  • Instrument: 300 hours.
  • Jet: 500 hours.
  • Capabilities: Able to perform the essential functions of the role and uphold the highest safety and service standards.

📍 Base & Operations

Based at Miami’s Opa-locka Executive Airport (KOPF), you will support a discerning client under Part 135, ensuring safe, compliant operations and a consistently elevated travel experience.
