Lead Captain (Gulfstream G650) – Kowloon, Hong Kong

🧭 The Opportunity

As the Lead Captain, you’ll be the connective thread between Jet Aviation, the flight crew, and a high-profile client. You’ll set the tone for operational excellence, champion safety and service, mentor crew members, and represent Jet Aviation as a trusted professional—while maintaining full flight-deck duties. This leadership role carries managerial and mentoring responsibilities but does not supersede the authority of the designated PIC on any given flight.

🧰 What You’ll Do

• Leadership & Client Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Client’s Office to ensure clear communication and seamless service delivery.
  • Lead and support crew recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance management; foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Mentor newly appointed Lead Captains and support crew integration.
  • Collaborate closely with Flight Operations, Crew Planning, and Client Aviation Services for smooth day-to-day operations.
• Operational Oversight
  • Oversee crew training, scheduling, and annual-leave planning.
  • Review and approve aircraft-related expenses, invoices, and crew expense claims.
  • Support complex trip planning and real-time operational decision-making.
  • Monitor aircraft documentation, regulatory approvals, and operational compliance.
• Flight Duties
  • Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the G650 across all phases of flight.
  • Maintain full adherence to all regulatory requirements, company procedures, and the Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
  • Safeguard passenger, crew, and aircraft safety; maintain accurate operational records and reports.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism as an ambassador of Jet Aviation.

🌟 What You’ll Bring

• Valid FAA ATP (unrestricted or restricted) or EASA ATPL.
• Current Gulfstream G650 type rating and demonstrated G650 operating experience.
• Recent flight experience and currency meeting all commercial/regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership in corporate/business aviation or managed-aircraft environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; confidence engaging with high-profile clients and senior internal stakeholders.
• Calm, decisive operational judgment in dynamic settings with a strong safety and service ethos.
• Results-driven mindset with high personal accountability, initiative, and self-direction.

Note: The Lead Captain provides leadership and coordination while the designated PIC retains authority on each flight.
