✈️ What you’ll do

  • Captain King Air medevac flights based out of La Ronge, serving northern operations on a rotational schedule.
  • Deliver safe, timely, and compassionate patient transport while coordinating closely with medical crews and dispatch.
  • Execute thorough flight planning, performance and fuel calculations, and weather/route assessments.
  • Operate to Rise Air Flight Operations procedures, Transport Canada regulations, and client-specific standards.
  • Lead by example in a safety-first culture, fostering strong crew communication and decision-making.
  • Maintain all required training, currency, and documentation.

🧭 What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 1,500 hours total time, including 500 hours Pilot-in-Command, 500 multi-engine hours, and 500 turbine hours.
  • Current Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
  • Valid passport with ability to travel to the USA.
  • Legally entitled to work immediately in Canada.
  • Ability to obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Northern Flying Operations and the ability to meet established Client Standards.
  • Safety-sensitive position: must test negative for controlled substances and alcohol prior to employment.
  • Priority given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents; preference for qualified Indigenous applicants.
