✈️ The Opportunity

Lead safe, efficient flight operations on King Air aircraft across assigned missions from our Nairobi base. You’ll take command of the full flight lifecycle—from meticulous pre-flight planning to coordinated crew leadership—delivering reliable service in alignment with IJM’s safety-first procedures and standards.

🧰 What You’ll Do

• Operate King Air aircraft on assigned missions to the highest safety and compliance standards.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, performance planning, and safety checks.
• Manage cockpit and crew operations in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and operations to ensure on-time performance.
• Uphold exemplary airmanship, CRM, and passenger service throughout every flight.

🧠 What You’ll Bring

• Valid ATPL (FAA accepted).
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours in type (King Air).
• Minimum 500 hours turbine time.
• King Air type rating required.
• ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Unrestricted passport and the flexibility to travel and work a rotational roster.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong CRM/communication skills.
