✈️ About the Role

The Captain will operate the King Air 350 safely and prudently while supporting client travel needs and upholding Solairus Aviation’s standards of safety, service, integrity, teamwork, and operational excellence.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise full authority and responsibility for the safe operation of the King Air 350 on every flight.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to dispatch.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
  • Evaluate weather, enroute facilities, destination and alternate airports, and all flight-planning considerations.
  • Comply with Solairus policies/procedures and applicable FARs.
  • Safeguard the safety and comfort of passengers, and the security of aircraft and crew.
  • Accurately complete all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with a hardworking team and deliver exceptional client service on every mission.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total time: 2,500+ hours
  • PIC time: 1,000+ hours
  • Multi-engine land: 500+ hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 500+ hours
  • Turbojet time: 500+ hours
  • Instrument time: 200+ hours
  • Type rated on the King Air 350 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Ability to complete annual ICAO international procedures training.
  • Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMRY or willingness to relocate.

Home base is Monterey Regional Airport (MRY). Operations support client travel needs and may include domestic and international flying in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
