✈️ The Opportunity

Axis Jet is seeking a full-time King Air 350 Captain to lead safe, efficient, and passenger-focused operations. This role includes an 18-month training commitment and requires relocation to remain within a two-hour callout radius of Sacramento, CA.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command on King Air 350 FAR Part 135 on-demand charter flights based in Sacramento.
  • Maintain two-hour callout readiness and ensure dispatch reliability.
  • Plan and execute flights, including performance, weight and balance, fuel, and weather analysis.
  • Uphold safety, regulatory compliance, and standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Deliver exceptional passenger service while representing Axis Jet with professionalism.
  • Maintain qualifications, recurrent training, and currency required for Part 135 operations.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 2,000 hours minimum.
  • Turbine Time: 500 hours minimum.
  • Medical: Valid FAA First-Class Medical.
  • Training Agreement: Willing to commit to an 18-month training agreement.
  • Relocation: Must relocate to live within a two-hour callout of the Sacramento area.

🔧 Preferred Experience

  • Current or prior King Air Part 135 experience.
  • Proficiency with Collins Pro Line 21, EFIS-85, and Garmin G1000 avionics suites.
  • Recent simulator-based training and recent Part 135 checking highly regarded.
