🧭 What you’ll do
- Command King Air 350 missions that capture high-quality infrared mapping data in support of firefighting and related programs.
- Operate with precision under company, customer, and regulatory standards, maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and safety management practices.
- Plan and execute flights including performance calculations, W&B, weather/NOTAM analysis, fuel planning, alternates, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate closely with mission crews and technicians to ensure data accuracy, sensor integration, and timely deliverables.
- Employ Collins Pro Line 21 (and, where applicable, Fusion) avionics for IFR operations, navigation, and situational awareness.
- Complete thorough pre/post-flight documentation, debriefs, and reporting as required by the program.
- Support multi-base deployments, repositioning flights, and on-call schedules to meet mission demand nationwide.
🧰 What you bring
- Certificates: FAA CPL with IR and ME; King Air 350 type rating required
- Medical: Class 2 (FAA)
- Minimum flight time:
- Total time: 2,500 hours
- PIC time: 1,200 hours
- In type: 25 hours
- Multi-engine Turbine PIC: 200 hours
- Cross-country: 500 hours
- Instrument: 75 hours (with Actual: 50 hours)
- Night PIC: 200 hours
- Experience notes:
Pro Line 21 experience - Currency: 100 fixed-wing PIC hours within the preceding 12 months
- Additional requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of all required training, checks, and drug testing per program requirements
- Preferred:
- ATP certificate
- 10 hours in make/model within the preceding 12 months
- Extensive King Air B200 and/or 350 experience
- Extensive familiarity with Collins Pro Line 21 and Fusion avionics
- Previous firefighting, mapping, or aerial survey flight experience
