✈️ The Opportunity

Contour Airlines is hiring a full-time, home-based Captain to operate Embraer ERJ 135/145 aircraft with a domicile in Smyrna, Tennessee. You’ll lead with safety, precision, and customer care while delivering reliable, on-time operations within demanding schedules. Current and potential domicile assignments will be discussed during the interview.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Place safety first and adhere to all company procedures, manuals, memoranda, and policies.
• Execute thorough preflight planning and prepare accurate flight plans.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service to every passenger.
• Ensure the aircraft is clean, properly stocked, and provisioned for safety and comfort.
• Uphold uniform standards and represent the brand with polish and professionalism.
• Comply with schedules and directives governing the safe operation of company aircraft.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership.

🧰 Minimum Flight Experience

• Total Time: 1,500 hours minimum (2,000 recommended)
• PIC Time: 500 hours minimum (1,000 recommended)
• Multi-Engine: 500 hours minimum (1,000 recommended)

🌟 Licenses, Ratings & Medical

• U.S. ATP (unrestricted or restricted)
• Current FAA First-Class Medical
• Commercial Multi-Engine Land (CPL MEL)
• Instrument Airplane rating
• English Proficiency Endorsement

🧭 Qualifications & Qualities

• At least 23 years old with a valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Current passport; authorized to work in the United States; able to travel internationally
• Ability to understand, read, and write English
• Polished, customer-oriented leader with strong communication, organization, and teamwork
• High attention to detail, motivation, and effective stress management
• Clean safety record: No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents
• Successful completion of background screening: 10-year work history, criminal-history, reference checks, national driver-record checks, check-ride history review
• DOT pre-employment drug screening and participation in FAA/company random drug & alcohol testing

🗓️ Scheduling & Work Conditions

• Includes nights, weekends, holidays, and varying or flexible assignments
• Report within 120 minutes of a dispatch call during assigned duty periods
• Routinely lift up to 75 lbs
• Home-based role with Smyrna, TN domicile; domicile options will be discussed during interview

💰 Pay & Benefits

• Base Salary: $118,000 – $153,963
• Overrides: Eligible for check-pilot, AR/GUS, and in-base overrides
• Incentives: Retention bonuses of $10,000 after 24 months and every additional 12 active months; additional pay incentives for qualifying trips

• Retirement: 401(k) with company match up to 6% of eligible compensation
