✈️ The opportunity
As a Hawker Captain with SC Aviation, you’ll lead safe, customer-centric missions across North America while representing a respected Midwest operator. You’ll join a close-knit team, benefit from company-paid type training, and have clear pathways to advance across our multi-aircraft fleet.
🧭 Where you’ll be based
This role is based in Janesville, Wisconsin (JVL), approximately 90 miles northwest of Chicago. Relocation is required to reside within 90 miles of JVL, keeping you close to the team and well-positioned for efficient launch times.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Serve as PIC on the Hawker 800 series in 14 CFR Part 135 operations.
- Deliver exceptional, discreet customer care with a polished, professional presence.
- Lead all phases of flight: planning, performance, W&B, risk assessment, and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards at all times.
- Collaborate closely with flight operations, scheduling, and maintenance to ensure on-time, safe departures.
- Maintain a detail-oriented approach to documentation, aircraft cleanliness, and client experience.
📏 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 3,000 hours
- PIC time: 1,500 hours
- Turbine: 100 hours
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
- License req.: FAA ATP
- Open to lic. holders: FAA
- Medical: Class 1
- Residence: Must live within 90 miles of Janesville, WI
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided (must be authorized to work in the U.S.)
