✈️ The Opportunity
As a SkyShare Captain, you’ll lead Gulfstream GIV-series operations (G350/G400/G450) with a steadfast commitment to safety, compliance, and client care. You’ll fly a mix of domestic and international missions, bringing confidence, professionalism, and calm decision-making to every phase of flight.
🧭 Where You’ll Operate
- Salt Lake City–based Part 135 flight department with nationwide coverage.
- International operations, including transatlantic and transpacific missions.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot in Command on Gulfstream GIV-series aircraft (G350/G400/G450).
- Lead safe, compliant operations under Part 135, upholding company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Plan and execute IFR flights, including performance planning, weight and balance, and fuel strategy.
- Deliver a refined, client-first experience from briefing to baggage, maintaining discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground services to ensure on-time, mission-ready aircraft.
- Practice strong CRM and threat/error management; maintain meticulous flight, duty, and aircraft records.
- Stay current through recurrent training and check rides; model a safety-first culture.
🌟 What You Bring
Flight Experience (minimums):
- Total time: 5,000 hours
- PIC time: 3,000 hours
- PIC in Type: 1,000 hours
- Multi-engine: 2,000 hours
- Jet: 1,500 hours
Currency and operational experience:
- Current and qualified in the GV series.
- 1,000 PIC hours in the G450/550 and/or GV.
- Current IFR knowledge and experience.
- Prior Part 135 experience.
- International experience, including transatlantic and transpacific operations.
Certificates and clearances:
- ATP certificate (FAA accepted).
- Valid Class 1 medical.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid passport and driver’s license.
- Ability to pass TSA background checks and obtain a SIDA badge when applicable.
Type rating: Required on the GV-series.
