Gulfstream G650ER Captain – Bedford, MA (KBED)

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650ER Captain to join a Bedford, Massachusetts–based operation at KBED. This role centers on safe, professional, and service-oriented flight operations that meet client travel needs while upholding Solairus standards of safety, service, and integrity.

  • Location: Bedford, MA (KBED)
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Aircraft: Gulfstream G650ER
  • Schedule: On-call, aligned to client travel requirements
  • International Ops: Annual ICAO procedures training required
  • Residency: Live within a two-hour drive of KBED or be willing to relocate

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring the safe, prudent operation of the Gulfstream G650ER in accordance with Solairus policies, procedures, and applicable FARs.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections under the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Evaluate weather, NOTAMs, facilities, route information, and destination/alternate airports.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and service for passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately complete all trip paperwork and recordkeeping per current procedures.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 3,000 hours
  • PIC Time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine (MEL): 1,500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbojet Time: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours
  • Type Rating: Gulfstream G650ER (or comparable aircraft)
  • Medical: Current First-Class
  • Availability: On-call to support dynamic client travel needs
  • Training: Annual completion of ICAO international procedures
  • Location: Within two-hour drive of KBED or willingness to relocate
