You’ll take the left seat in a world-class private aviation environment, ensuring uncompromising safety, polished service, and seamless operations across domestic and worldwide missions.

✈️ Your Mission

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on assigned G600/G800 flights, ensuring the highest levels of safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Lead a professional crew, foster open communication, and deliver a discreet, best-in-class experience for private aviation clients.
  • Plan, execute, and adapt flight plans for domestic and worldwide routes, navigating changing conditions with precision.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of aircraft systems, performance, and limitations; operate the aircraft with precision and professionalism.
  • Act as the TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator under the Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.
  • Conduct or delegate passenger safety briefings; champion a positive safety culture by reporting hazards and addressing issues proactively.
  • Record and report aircraft discrepancies, manage trip documentation, maintain current aircraft manuals, and complete accurate post-trip paperwork.
  • Represent Jet Aviation as a service-focused brand ambassador in all client and stakeholder interactions.

🧭 What You’ll Bring

  • Certificates: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and FAA First Class Medical.
  • License Required: ATP (Unrestricted or Restricted).
  • Flight Time Minimums: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine; 500 hours turbo-jet; 500 hours turbine; 100 hours night; 75 hours simulated instrument; 500 hours jet time.
  • Type Rating: G600/G800 type rating and current currency preferred; appropriate aircraft type rating a plus.
  • Travel & Schedule: Able to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
  • Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional Traits: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; collaborative mindset; deep industry understanding; integrity, discretion, and a proactive, resourceful approach.

🧰 Technical & Operational Proficiency

  • Master aircraft performance, systems, and limitations to execute every phase of flight with precision.
  • Manage flight planning, fuel strategies, and alternates; adapt promptly to weather, ATC, and operational changes.
  • Ensure meticulous compliance with regulatory, security, and company standards at all times.
  • Maintain current operational manuals and documentation; ensure all trip records are accurate and complete.

🌟 Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Regular use of hands; periods of standing, walking, and sitting; occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
  • Sharp near, far, and depth vision.
  • Operate in hangars, customer areas, arrival/departure ramps, and maintenance spaces with exposure to changing weather, temperature extremes, noise, vibration, and possible fuel fumes.

  • Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator under the TFSSP or PCSSP; deliver or assign passenger safety briefings.
