✈️ The Opportunity
As Captain, you will assume full command of a state-of-the-art Gulfstream G600 and lead a professional crew to deliver a seamless, secure, and elevated travel experience for discerning clients. You’ll blend impeccable airmanship with flight-deck leadership, rigorous safety and security oversight, and brand ambassadorship grounded in trust, honesty, alignment, transparency, and operational excellence.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Command all assigned flights, making sound, timely decisions that ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency under federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain deep, current knowledge of all aircraft systems; execute flight plans with precision; adapt quickly to changing conditions for a smooth passenger experience.
- Perform TSA ISC duties in accordance with the Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.
- Deliver required passenger safety briefings (or delegate to the Second in Command) and foster open, proactive safety communication; report hazards and uphold a secure operating environment.
- Record and report aircraft discrepancies as they occur; ensure accurate and timely trip paperwork, manuals, and documentation per company procedures.
- Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism and discretion in every setting—on the ramp, in the cabin, and with clients around the globe.
🧰 What You’ll Bring
- License: ATP (unrestricted)
- Medical: FAA First Class Medical
- Total fixed-wing time: 3,500 hours minimum
- PIC: 1,500 hours
- Multi-engine: 1,500 hours
- Turbo-jet: 500 hours
- Turbine: 500 hours
- Night: 100 hours
- Simulated instrument: 75 hours
- Ability to work a variable schedule aligned to mission needs and travel internationally without restrictions.
- High school diploma (or equivalent); valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative, service-focused mindset.
- Integrity, discretion, and a resourceful, proactive approach to problem-solving.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- College degree.
- Gulfstream G600 or appropriate aircraft type rating and current currency.
- Deep, current understanding of the private/business aviation landscape and client-service best practices.
🌦️ Physical & Work Environment
- Regular use of hands; periods of standing, walking, and sitting; occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, including overhead lifting.
- Sharp near/far vision, depth perception, and accommodation across ranges.
- Operations may occur in heavy-maintenance areas and upscale customer spaces near aircraft arrivals/departures.
- Exposure to noise, vibration, fuel fumes, and changing weather with seasonal temperature extremes in hangars.
