Gulfstream G550 Captain – Teterboro (KTEB)

  • Residency: Live within two hours of KTEB or be willing to relocate

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Captain to operate a Gulfstream G550 based at KTEB in Teterboro, NJ. You will lead safe, professional flight operations in support of client travel while upholding our culture of safety, service, integrity, and operational excellence.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Exercise full responsibility for the safe, prudent operation of the Gulfstream G550 in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and determine airworthiness before each flight.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Plan and brief flights, including weather analysis, airport/facility checks, route and alternates selection.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers while safeguarding the aircraft and crew.
  • Complete all trip logs and required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain currency, including annual ICAO international procedures training.
  • Represent Solairus Aviation with professionalism and discretion at all times.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Flight Experience: 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine; 500 hours multi-engine PIC; 500 hours turbojet; 250 hours instrument.
  • Type Rating: Current type rating on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Medical: FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Training: Ability to complete and maintain annual ICAO International Procedures training.
  • Availability: Comfortable working on an on-call basis to meet client travel needs.
  • Location: Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KTEB or willingness to relocate.
