🧭 Role overview

The Captain holds command responsibility for the safe, prudent operation of the Gulfstream G500, ensuring every flight meets company standards and client expectations. You’ll operate within Solairus’s well-established safety culture and deliver an exceptional travel experience for a discerning corporate clientele.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Conduct each flight in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and determine airworthiness prior to departure.
  • Perform thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
  • Complete comprehensive weather, NOTAM, and facilities checks for the route, destination, and alternates.
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
  • Accurately complete and submit all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

🌟 What you bring

  • Type rating on the Gulfstream G500 (or a comparable aircraft).
  • Current first-class medical certificate.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Commitment to annual ICAO international procedures training.
  • Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMCO or KDJT, or a willingness to relocate.

🧮 Minimum flight experience

  • Total time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
  • Multi-engine land (MEL): 1,500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbojet time: 500 hours
  • Instrument time: 250 hours
