Jet Aviation is hiring a seasoned Gulfstream G500 Captain to lead premium private-aviation missions from Middletown, Pennsylvania (Harrisburg area). You will command domestic and international flights, ensure uncompromising safety and compliance, and deliver discreet, world-class service while representing Jet Aviation’s brand and values.
✈️ The Opportunity
As Captain, you carry full responsibility for safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations. You’ll lead a professional crew, manage evolving conditions and flight plans, coordinate security and passenger safety, document trips meticulously, and provide a seamless, high-touch experience for discerning clients.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Command all assigned flights and make critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain expert knowledge of aircraft systems and operate the G500 to the highest professional standards.
- Plan, brief, and adapt flight plans to changing conditions for a seamless travel experience.
- Perform TSA Flight Security Coordinator duties under the applicable Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.
- Conduct required passenger safety briefings (or delegate to the Second in Command) and foster open communication about safety, reporting hazards proactively.
- Record and report aircraft discrepancies as they occur; maintain aircraft manuals and ensure accurate, timely trip documentation per company procedures.
- Serve as a professional brand ambassador for Jet Aviation, delivering discreet, exceptional service to clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
🧰 What You’ll Bring
- Certificates: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (unrestricted or restricted); FAA First Class Medical.
- Minimum flight time: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine; 500 hours turbojet; 500 hours turbine; 100 hours night; 75 hours simulated instrument.
- Readiness: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Education & compliance: High school diploma required; valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Professional skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; high integrity and discretion.
- Preferred: College degree; appropriate aircraft type rating and current currency that set you apart.
