🧭 Your mission

As Second‑in‑Command, you’ll assist the Pilot in Command with safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations, uphold company SOPs, and ensure an exceptional client experience from preflight to postflight.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Participate in preflight planning: review weather, NOTAMs, aircraft performance, and routing.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections and confirm aircraft readiness.
• Monitor aircraft systems and performance in flight; maintain strong situational awareness.
• Assist with navigation and radio communications; communicate clearly and proactively with the PIC.
• Adhere to company SOPs, checklists, and safety protocols at all times.
• Ensure regulatory compliance under FAA Part 135 and company procedures.
• Complete postflight documentation, debriefs, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Maintain all required licenses, medicals, and currency in accordance with company, FAA, and ICAO (as applicable) requirements.
• Participate in initial and recurrent training, check rides, and evaluations.
• Champion a culture of safety, professionalism, teamwork, and premium customer service.

🧠 What you bring

• License: FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR).
• Medical: Current Second‑Class Medical Certificate (First‑Class preferred).
• Minimum flight time: 1,500 hours total time and 500 hours multi‑engine (meets Part 135 SIC eligibility).
• Solid understanding of aeronautical decision‑making (ADM), crew resource management (CRM), and FAA regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Residence in Colorado or willingness to relocate.
• Clear background check; successful completion of company training.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening and participate in the DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program per 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40.
• Preferred: Prior Part 135 experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a G280 type rating.
