✈️ The Opportunity
Executive Jet Management (EJM) is seeking an experienced professional pilot to serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) of a Gulfstream 280 based at KRDU. You’ll fly a high‑performing aircraft within a well‑supported team, delivering a seamless owner and passenger experience while upholding the highest operational standards.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Assume final authority and responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft on every leg.
- Verify crewing and trip assignments meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance.
- Lead briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to proactively mitigate operational risk.
- Operate to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate closely with EJM personnel and partners.
- Serve as Ground Security and In‑Flight Security Coordinator per company policy.
- Conduct thorough preflight tasks; review maintenance status and mission capability; record discrepancies per SOPs.
- Oversee and verify ground servicing, including fueling, oil, and oxygen.
- Deliver clear passenger briefings and the highest level of customer service, including support for physically challenged passengers.
- Communicate effectively using Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) in normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Identify ways to elevate the EJM experience; investigate and resolve service deviations; collaborate with fellow crew and internal partners to resolve conflicts constructively.
- Maintain all required training and recency, adhere to the company Safety Management System (SMS), and report safety or compliance concerns through proper channels.

🧰 What You’ll Bring
- 4–6 years of flight experience; prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred.
- FAA type rating in the applicable fleet and the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum flight time:
- 3,500 hours total time
- 1,500 hours Multi‑Engine Land (MEL)
- 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- 500 hours PIC MEL
- 300 hours instrument
- 500 hours jet
- Commitment to ongoing training, recency, SOP adherence, and SMS participation, including prompt reporting of safety/non‑compliance concerns.
- Professionalism, discretion, and a service‑first mindset.
Pre‑employment drug screening and background checks are conducted.
