Gulfstream Captain (GV/G450) — Home‑Based, SLC Aircraft | Part 135

✈️ Role at a glance

As Captain, you will lead safe, compliant flight operations on the GV and G450 while delivering a refined, customer-first experience. You’ll thrive on a dynamic 15/13 schedule, operating across time zones, changing weather, and international routes—including transatlantic and transpacific missions.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Operate the GV and G450 as Captain in strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
• Execute duty periods up to 14 hours, frequently crossing multiple time zones and weather systems; conduct international, transatlantic, and transpacific missions.
• Work a 15/13 rotation covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays; remain trip-ready for overnights and multi-day sequences.
• Deliver premium client service with professional communication, presentation, sound judgment, and proactive problem-solving.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset in changing environments; manage sleep effectively for flight readiness.
• Occasionally lift and move items up to 80 lbs and competently handle and care for animals before, during, and after flights.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Current and qualified in the Gulfstream GV series.
• Certificates: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (appropriate category/class); valid FAA First-Class Medical; FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Flight experience: 5,000+ total hours; 3,000+ PIC; 2,000+ multi-engine; 1,500+ jet; 1,000+ PIC in G450/550 and/or GV.
• Operational experience: Prior Part 135 experience required; international operations including transatlantic and transpacific required.
• IFR: Current instrument knowledge and experience.
• Travel documents: Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license; able to pass TSA background checks and obtain SIDA when applicable.
• Work authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional strengths: Safety-first mindset, adaptability, strong communication, decisive judgment, problem-solving, accountability, integrity, confidentiality, and polished customer service/presentation.
• Home base: Reside in the Central, Midwest, or Western U.S. near an airport with daily nonstop service to Salt Lake City.

🌟 Pay, schedule, and benefits

• Compensation: $230,000 annually.
• Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off rotation.
• Training: Company training with a 12-month repayment agreement (amortized quarterly).

📍 Base and operations

The aircraft are based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a home-based Captain role within SkyShare’s Part 135 flight department supporting fractional ownership, charter, and managed-aircraft clients.
