Grand Caravan Seaplane Captain (C208B Amphibious PIC)

• Serve as PIC for amphibious C208B Grand Caravan operations, transporting maintenance parts, supplies, and technicians to remote and on-airport locations.
• Plan and execute flights to the highest safety standards: performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, weather and NOTAM analysis, and route selection.
• Conduct water and runway operations including docking, ramping, and mooring with expert airmanship and situational awareness.
• Ensure strict compliance with FARs, Operations Specifications, the General Operations Manual, Flight Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams; provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and riders.
• Complete accurate logs, reports, and digital records; safeguard company assets and cargo.
• Participate in training and checking to maintain currency and proficiency; champion a strong safety culture and operational excellence.

• Total Time: 1,200 hours
• PIC Time: 500 hours
• Cross-Country: 500 hours
• Night: 100 hours
• Instrument: 75 hours (50 hours actual)
• Seaplane: 100 hours
• Licenses: CPL, Instrument Rating (IR), Seaplane/Float Rating
• Accepted Licenses: FAA
• Medical: Class 1
• Type Rating: Not required — training provided

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must reside within one hour of TMB (home base).
• Strong organizational skills with advanced multi-tasking ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; comfortable with email, web-based, and mobile applications.
• Highly knowledgeable of the General Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies.
• Able to complete company training and demonstrate proficiency to required standards.
• Pass a comprehensive background check (employment, education, criminal history, and other relevant verifications).
• This Safety-Sensitive role is subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing per FAA guidelines.

• Area of Operation: Amphibious (runway and water) operations to various worksites
• Schedule: Variable based on mission needs; includes day, night, and instrument conditions
