We're seeking a seasoned Grand Caravan Amphibian Captain to help build a best‑in‑class amphibious operation. If you love the challenge of both water and runway environments and want real growth in a dynamic company, this is your seat.
🧭 The Role
As Captain, you will lead safe, efficient amphibious operations in diverse environments while upholding a rigorous safety culture and mentoring the team.
- Command the C208B Amphibian in commercial operations from both water and paved/unpaved runways.
- Execute thorough planning, performance, and W&B; make sound decisions in changing weather and water conditions.
- Conduct water work proficiently (docking, beaching, mooring, step taxiing) with strong airmanship.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable CAAT/EASA/FAA regulations.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance to maximise dispatch reliability and customer experience.
- Model professionalism, mentor crew, and contribute to continuous improvement.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 2,000 hours TT
- In Type: 500 hours on Cessna 208/208B (Amphibian preferred)
- Water Experience: 1,000 hours water operations, including time on 208 Amphibs
- Type Rating: Required on C208/C208B
- Currency: Last flight on type within 12 months
- Licences: CPL with Float Rating and IR
- Accepted Authorities: CAAT, EASA, or FAA
- Medical: Class 1
- English Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
Preferred
- Instructor/Examiner credentials (FI, FE, CRI, CRE)
- Additional single‑engine turbine (SET) ratings
- Experience across various amphibious seaplanes
- Operational familiarity with multiple authorities (CAAT/EASA/FAA)
