Join a safety-first, customer-centered flight department seeking a type-rated First Officer for the Gulfstream IV series.
✈️ The Opportunity
As a Gulfstream GIV/350/400/450 First Officer, you’ll partner with the Captain to deliver safe, smooth, and memorable journeys for discerning clientele. You’ll blend precise airmanship with exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and discretion on every leg—including international, transatlantic, and transpacific operations.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Execute all phases of flight in accordance with company SOPs, regulations, and best practices.
- Lead detailed preflight planning: weather, routing, performance, weight and balance, NOTAMs, and fuel strategy.
- Manage cockpit duties, checklist discipline, and CRM; monitor systems, automation, and flight path management.
- Support international operations: oceanic procedures, navigation, permits, and documentation.
- Ensure a premium, guest-focused cabin experience; assist with catering, cabin readiness, and special requests.
- Participate in safety programs and reporting (SMS), and maintain meticulous records and currency.
- Handle and care for animals before, during, and after flights as needed.
🌟 Minimum Flight Experience
- Total time: 2,000 hours
- Multi-engine: 500 hours
- Jet: 200 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Experience: Prior Part 135 experience; international, transatlantic, and transpacific operations
🧾 Credentials & Currency
- Licenses: CPL, IR, ME
- Type rating: Gulfstream IV series required (GIV/G350/G400/G450)
- Recency: Current and qualified in the GV series (G450/G550/GV) within the last 12 months
- Permits: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Medical: Class 1 (current)

- Must pass all required background checks and obtain/maintain an appropriate SIDA badge when applicable.
- Valid passport and valid driver’s license required.
- Adheres to all TSA and international entry/exit requirements.
- Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality at all times.
📍 Commuting & Base
To commute for this position, you must reside in the Central, Midwest, or Western U.S. and live near an airport offering daily nonstop service to SLC.
