✈️ About the role
As a First Officer, you will operate in a two-crew environment, delivering safe, efficient, and professional flight operations in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements. You will support the Captain in all phases of flight, contribute to a strong safety culture, and provide excellent service while representing the airline with professionalism.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Execute preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance with precision.
- Operate the aircraft in compliance with SOPs, checklists, and all applicable regulations.
- Maintain exemplary situational awareness and practice strong CRM at all times.
- Assist with flight deck documentation, reports, and post-flight duties.
- Champion a just culture by proactively identifying and reporting safety concerns.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 500 hours
- License requirement: IATRA or ATPL written
- Open to license holders: TCCA
- Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher; must meet Transport Canada standard
🔎 Additional requirements
- Must have a completed IATRA written in the past two years or ATPL exams written.
- Must be able to obtain a RAIC.
- Must hold a current passport at time of hire.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident without restrictions.
- If you are a Permanent Resident, you must be able to obtain and maintain crew visa documentation required to operate aircraft within the USA.
- Must have completed a High School diploma.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required where permitted by applicable law.
- Visa sponsorship is not provided.
