🧰 The Role

The Co‑Pilot (First Officer) is directly responsible to the Commander (PIC) for the safe and efficient execution of duties in all phases of flight. You will assist with aircraft operation, ensure regulatory compliance, and be prepared to assume command in the absence of the Commander.

  • Operate the aircraft in close coordination with the Commander, maintaining strict adherence to company SOPs and the LIAT 2020 GOM.
  • Execute standard callouts, checklists, and flight deck procedures; monitor flight path, automation modes, fuel, and systems.
  • Support pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, mass and balance, and briefings.
  • Maintain strong CRM, communicate effectively with the flight and cabin crew, ATC, and ground operations.
  • Respond effectively to abnormal and emergency situations in accordance with training and procedures.
  • Uphold a safety-first culture while delivering a professional, passenger-focused service.
  • Maintain personal proficiency, regulatory currency, and professional standards.
